From 2007-2012, my partner Adriana Barrios and I owned an artist-run gallery space called Justiceworks Studio at the Blue Star Arts Complex in San Antonio, Texas.  We started it during our undergraduate years at the University of Texas San Antonio as a space for ourselves and fellow art colleagues to exhibit artwork outside of the commercial realm.  Every month, our gallery opened and participated in First Friday events alongside several other galleries in the heart of downtown.  The grassroots project grew into a professional gallery venue exhibiting over 30 multidisciplinary exhibitions and installations during the five-year span. Our gallery and the artists we represented were recognized statewide. Additionally, we hosted several guest curators such as Dennis Olsen, Libby Rowe, and Ovidio Giberga.  Click on the names below to view many participating artists' websites.
