Forgotten, Found, 2019
Forgotten, Found is an ongoing body of work. It combines anonymous, collected slide photographs and semi-fictional short stories. Drawing on my own life experiences and remembered narratives I have heard throughout time, I use visual clues within the imagery that remind me of certain tales to fabricate a somewhat loose narrative hovering the line of truth and fiction. I am interested in the relationship of trauma and memory and how photographs motivate personal retained events.
